President Donald Trump announced funding for law enforcement and small businesses during a safety round table on Tuesday.
The president said $1 million would be available for Kenosha law enforcement, $4 million for small businesses affected by recent unrest, and $42 million for statewide public safety.
The round table included U.S. Attorney General William Barr, Kenosha Sheriff David Beth, Kenosha Police Chief Daniel Miskinis, Rep. Bryan Steil, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson and others.
Barr said that the federal government would continue to offer support and work with local law enforcement amidst unrest.
