The preliminary survey of damage in the Lake Geneva area after strong storms on Monday is consistent with a "high-end EF-0 tornado," the National Weather Service said Tuesday.
The National Weather Service surveyed the damage in the area after strong storms moved through Monday evening, with wind speeds upwards of 80 miles per hour.
The NWS said the strong winds produced tree damage and multiple large limbs and tree trunks were knocked down or snapped.
The NWS said it would be surveying damage in Lake Geneva, Camp Lake and Union Grove.
