MILWAUKEE — The popular coat check service at Mitchell International Airport has returned for the winter, just in time for the holiday season.
If you're heading out of town, perhaps to a warm state, and don't want to bring a big winter coat with you, you can take advantage of the coat check program.
Travelers can store their coats at the airport for $2 a day, or $10 per trip. While you're gone, your coat will be wrapped in plastic and stores safely until your return.
“We remain the only major airport in the nation to offer this coat check service, and we’ve been pleased with the overwhelmingly positive response we’ve received this far,” said Airport Director Brian Dranzik. “We’re so glad to be able to bring this back again for another year."
The coat check is located at the Summerfest MKE store in the airport, prior to the security check.
