WEST BEND — A 47-year-old West Bend man has been arrested for attempted homicide after he repeatedly beat his wife with a baseball bat following an argument Wednesday morning, according to the West Bend Police Department.
He turned himself in at the police station and requested an ambulance be sent to their home.
The woman sustained serious injuries to her head and arms and was transported to Froedtert Hospital where she is in stable condition.
The husband told investigators he and his wife were arguing when he took a baseball bat and struck her several times in an attempt to kill her.
He was arrested and placed in jail for attempted homicide.
This is an ongoing investigation for West Bend Police.
