MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are searching for a suspect involved in a crash that killed one of their employees.
The unidentified suspect is accused of being involved in the fatal crash that killed Deborah Harris on Monday near N. 51st Street at West Vienna St.
Milwaukee police said the suspect was driving recklessly at the time of hitting Harris' car and left the scene.
Police say the suspect ran a red light, and when they tried to pull him over, he took off.
Harris had more than 32 years with Milwaukee police and was a Milwaukee Police Department Emergency Communications Operator.
