GLENDALE — The Milwaukee County Sheriff's office is investigating reports of shots fired on I-43 South near Silver Spring Drive.
Authorities responded to the scene about 8:00 p.m. Sunday, closing the southbound lanes of travel beyond Good Hope Road. Deputies were seen walking along the closed section of expressway searching for evidence.

The Glendale Police Department also responded to the scene to investigate. The closed section of expressway was reopened after 9:45 p.m.
