MILWAUKEE — The victim of the homicide that occurred in the 2200 block of West Burleigh Street has been identified as Quanita L. Jackson, 20.
The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting that occurred about 8 p.m. Sunday near Moody Park.
Officials said Jackson was shot near 23rd and Burleigh.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances behind the shooting.
Police do not have a suspect in custody.
