RACINE — The Racine Police Department is investigating a three vehicle crash that left a 57-year-old man injured on Friday.
Police say that they attempted to stop a vehicle near Washington Ave and Memorial Drive that refused to pull over. The car ended up crashing further down the block near 14th and Washington.
Before the vehicle stopped, a 57-year-old man who was riding a bicycle nearby was struck by the car and injured. He was transported to Froedtert Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the fleeing vehicle was taken into custody, according to the Racine Police Department.
