MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department says a 7-year-old Milwaukee boy was shot near 23rd & Locust Friday afternoon.
The shooting happened shortly after 3:45 p.m. Friday. When officers got to the scene, they located the boy suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The boy was taken to a local hospital where he's expected to make a full recovery. The shooting appears to be related to an argument and the boy was not the intended victim.
