Pleasant Prairie police searching for suspect in hit-and-run crash that killed 58-year-old

Police are searching for the suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash that left one man dead Sunday.

Pleasant Prairie police received 911 calls of a pedestrian down in the roadway about 7 p.m. near STH 165/104th Street.

Once officers arrived, they found the 58-year-old man who had been struck by a vehicle and attempted lifesaving measures. The man unfortunately died on the scene.

Police are now seeking the suspect who struck the pedestrian.

Investigators are looking for a small sedan-type vehicle with damage on the front passenger side. The vehicle is missing its front passenger-side hubcap or wheel cover, and has damage to the windshield. It also had a black car bra covering the front end, a portion of which was left at the scene.
