A number of pets were saved from the aftermath of the tornado that struck Chetek, Wis. this week.

The Red Cross of Wisconsin and the Salvation Army of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan both announced on social media that so far a kitten, dog and bunny have been rescued from the wreckage.

On Facebook, the local Salvation Army said it rescued a kitten trapped in the debris Thursday and turned it over to the Humane Society. They are looking for names for the rescued kitten.

On Twitter, the Red Crossposted a picture of a rescued bunny rabbit named Racer reuniting with its owners.

The Red Cross also shared a photo of crews digging out a dog trapped in the debris.

Crews are still working to clear the debris following the tornado that hit the small trailer park earlier this week. If you would like to donate or offer support, visit the Red Cross website, call 1-800-RED CROSS or text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10.
