WEST ALLIS — West Allis Police say an elderly man was hit by a train while walking his dog.
It happened near 76th and Hicks about 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say the man suffered what appears to non-life threatening injuries. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The dog appears uninjured and was taken back to the man's home.
Officers are still investigating what happened.
