It's a special experience to watch the Green Bay Packers play at Lambeau Field. So special that one fan traveled 4,000 miles to see it in person.

"I think I’m in Wisconsin less than 24 hours, totally worth it," said Ruairi Connolly, who grew up in Ireland and now lives in London.

He says he was "on holiday" in Florida, and jumped at the chance to fly to Milwaukee then drive two hours to see Thursday night's preseason game against the Tennessee Titans.

"I never thought in a million years I’d ever be here," he said.

Connolly says he became a Packer fan about 10 years ago when all his friends decided to pick an American team to root for.

"I picked Green Bay because they were green and I’m Irish," he said. "Then the next year, they won the Super Bowl and yes, they’re the best team."

He expected to just head into the stadium and watch the game on Thursday but then learned that Packers fans will welcome you right in.

"Everyone is so friendly and the weather's awesome, it’s the perfect day," said Connolly.
