One dead, one injured in shooting early Sunday morning, Milwaukee Police say

One person is dead and another injured after a shooting early Sunday morning, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.

Police say the shooting happened around 2:20 a.m. Sunday near 50th St. and Vienna Ave.

A 45-year-old died on scene despite lifesaving measures performed by emergency responders.

A 22-year-old also sustained gunshot wounds in the incident.

The Milwaukee Police Department continues to search for unknown suspects.
