PHOENIX (NBC 26) - A 10-year-old boy from Oconto Falls threw out the first pitch at Brewers Spring Training Sunday.
Evan Petersen has a form of muscular dystrophy, but has always been a lifelong Brewers fan. For the last three days, the Brewers and Aurora Health Care, sent Evan and his family to spring training.
Sunday, Evan took the field and threw out the opening pitch against the Padres. During his visit, he also met several players, including Lorenzo Cain, Josh Hader, Christian Yelich and Ryan Braun; he even brought fans to their feet by leading the fourth inning T-shirt toss.
The photos and video were provided by Aurora Health Care. Check back after the 10 p.m. newscast to see Evan in action.
