MILWAUKEE — For the second night in a row there will not be a curfew in Milwaukee, Mayor Tom Barrett said.
This comes during the sixth consecutive day of protests in Milwaukee in honor of George Floyd.
Tuesday night was the first time in three nights that there was not a curfew in the city. However, Mayor Barrett did say he reserved the right to insitute a curfew with little to no warning if protests escalated.
Tensions escalated Tuesday night when police called a group of protesters 'unlawful' and used gas to disperse the crowd.
