The man who shot and killed a would-be carjacker will not face criminal charges, according to the District Attorney's Office.
Last month a concealed carry holder shot and killed 21-year-old Carols Martin on the north side near 91st and Fond du Lac.
Martin was reportedly trying to steal his car while he was on his way to work.
The D.A. ruled the 24-year-old gun owner used his weapon in self-defense and was justified in his actions.
