MILWAUKEE — A new restaurant will open at Bradford Beach this summer.
The Dock at Bradford Beach will take over concessions at the existing beach house on Milwaukee's lakefront. This also includes services to the tiki huts and and any special events at the Bradford Beach.
“Residents and tourists that come to Milwaukee County beaches will have a variety of options to dine and drink along the water this summer,” said Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele. “The Dock partnership at Bradford Beach will bring even more visitors and economic impact to the community, and I look forward to seeing what great options are in store for us this summer.”
The menu will include tempura fish tacos, yellowfin tuna steak, burgers and kid's options.
The owners of The Dock and Milwaukee County Parks agreed on a five-year contract with the option to extend the term for an additional year. The partnership will include a profit-sharing agreement as well as establish a Parks Improvement Fund that will be used to better facilities at Bradford pavilion and beach. Proposed enhancements for 2019 and 2020 include additional seating, bar deck extensions, live music and European beer garden style shade umbrellas.
The Dock also operates a beach side restaurant at Montrose Beach in Chicago.
