MILWAUKEE — Mayor Tom Barrett and Alderman Khalif Rainey plan to introduce a new production facility at Milwaukee's Century City Business Park. It could bring hundreds of jobs to the city's north side.
The company, whose name hasn't been released yet, plans to build a 175,000-square foot facility on 20 acres along the west side of Hopkins Street, according to a statement from the City of Milwaukee.
The company plans to breaking ground later this year and begin operations in 2021.
"Initially it will bring 250 people to its new location; that number could grow to 500," the statement said.
