RACINE — New photos are being released of the suspect wanted in the shooting death of Racine Police Officer John Hetland.
These photographs are also published on the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page. Lead agency handling the investigation.
Hetland was killed last Monday when he tried to stop an armed robbery at Teezers Tavern in Racine while off duty.
Detectives working on the case are asking anyone within a half-a-mile of Teezers to check their security cameras or doorbell camera video for any suspicious activity from the evening of June 17, through early morning June 18.
The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect is now $70,500.
