The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office is looking to help reunite items given to help those in need during the massive and deadly I-41 pileup last week.
A blanket was given to one victim of the pileup as she was taken to the hospital. The victim does not remember the exchange but wants to return the blanket and thank the owners who helped save her.
An officer was also given a pair of gloves after she forgot her pair in her squad car. A man gave her his pair to allow the officer to continue helping others. She wants to return them as well.
