Milwaukee Public Schools have had six days off of school in the 2018-2019 school year due to inclement weather.

Because of the days off, five additional minutes will be added to each school day for students in grades K-8 on the early start and traditional calendar, as well as students grades 9-12 on the early start calendar. This schedule begins Feb. 25.

Further, previously scheduled days off will become full or half student-attendance days. For students grades K-8 on the early start calendar, those dates are Feb. 19, April 2, May 23 and 24.

Students grades K-8 on the traditional calendar will now be required to go into school Feb. 19, April 2 and June 13.

Students grades 9-12 on the early start calendar will be required at school Feb. 19, April 2, May 20, 21, 23 and 24.
