UPDATE: Critically missing man located safe

UPDATE: Milwaukee police say the missing man Larry Campbell has been found safe as of about 3:20 p.m. Friday. He was found near Kilbourn and Jefferson, and is in the process of being reunited with his family.

MILWAUKEE — MPD is seeking help in locating a critical missing Milwaukee man.

Larry Campbell, 66, was last seen at his home near North 48th Street and West Custer Street at about 4 a.m. Friday.

He is a black male, about 5 feet, 8 inches and weighing 156 pounds. Campbell has black and gray hair, a beard and scars on both knees.

Campbell was wearing a gold and silver wedding band, black knit cap, gray jacket with highlights over pockets, red and black flannel pajamas, and New Balance tennis shoes.

He was believed to be traveling on foot in an unknown direction. A Silver Alert request was sent to the state.
