MPD: Robber held fast food employee at knife-point

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and finding an armed robbery suspect.

The robbery happened Saturday afternoon at 4:50 p.m. at a west side fast food restaurant near the corner of Hawley and Main.

He reportedly grabbed an employee's shirt and pointed a knife while he demanded money from the cash register.

The man took an undetermined amount of cash and ran off from the restaurant.

The suspect is described as a black male, 40-45 years-old and 6-feet-tall. He was last seen wearing a blue knit cap, blue and white winter jacket, dark polo, dark pants with black and white shoes.
