The Milwaukee Police Department tweeted Monday that no shootings occurred during the weekend.

The new year got off to a rocky start with four shootings over the New Year holiday.
MPD says it has investigated nine shootings so far in 2019.
"Let’s continue to make improvements in our city so it can be a safer place to live, work, and raise a family. We are in this together," the tweet read.
