Milwaukee Police Department announced that public visitation and funeral services will be held Wednesday Feb. 13 for fallen Officer Matthew Rittner.

Rittner died in the line of duty this past Wednesday while executing a search warrant on the south side of Milwaukee. The 35-year-old was a member of the department's tactical unit and had been with the force for 17 years.
A vigil was held Friday evening to honor the late officer at Zablocki Elementary School.
An additional service will be held Tuesday exclusively for MPD, Milwaukee Fire Department, and interested military personnel.
