Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales delivered his remarks to honor fallen officer Matthew Rittner at his funeral Wednesday in a heartfelt speech.

Along with stories of Rittner (who Morales knew personally) and honoring the fallen officer, Morales touched on having to continue to lead the department after three officer deaths in eight months.
Rittner was killed last week while serving a search warrant. He was shot and later died from his injuries.
Last summer, Officer Charles Irvinewas killed while in pursuit of a suspect. A few weeks later, Officer Michael Michalskiwas shot and killed on the job as well.
