A lot of people took advantage of this great weather and many ventured outdoors Monday. It's just a small glimpse of what's to come, hopefully within the next few weeks.
This weather came earlier than expected for some.
"It’s super sunny out. It's real nice," said a student from UW-Milwaukee. "It's a lot more comfortable."
And because of it, kids shed their hats and coats and some even put on shorts.
"Oh it's beautiful man," said Trip Warren, a Marquette University student.
With the warmer temperatures, runners were also out while others enjoyed the water. Sarah Moore decided to ice skate.
"It's perfect weather for it," Moore said. "Yeah I love ice skating."
A quick little tease of spring right before it gets cold again soon.
"Take advantage of it while you can because I know a few weeks ago it was warm and all of sudden it's down to 30 degrees and everyone's bundled up again so go out and have fun," Warren said.
The winter warm up won't last long. Highs on Thursday are expected to dip back into the 30's.
