MILWAUKEE — Colorful "ice bars" are set to return to Milwaukee's Third Ward beginning Jan. 18, the St. Paul Fish Company said in a Facebook post.
Besides St. Paul Fish, Cafe Benelux and The Wicked Hop are planning to serve drinks outdoors at hand-carved ice bars, if the weather cooperates.
The bars previously have consisted of 150 blocks of ice, weighing a total of 23 tons.
In previous years, the event has included warm and cold drinks, infrared heaters and enough room to seat 14 people.
The event will last as long as the ice does.
