Milwaukee's Snow Emergency has been canceled as of Thursday, Jan. 28.
Between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, the City of Milwaukee reports that just about 4,400 parking citations were issued for the Snow Emergency.
Now, winter overnight parking regulations will continue to take place instead.
The is still no parking on arterials (main streets) from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m., and winter parking signs stating, “No Parking Dec. 1 to March 1" take precedence.
