Milwaukee residents are digging out again after snowfall

MILWAUKEE — It seems the snow is unshakeable — causing crashes, travel delays and a lot of frustrated people who had to wake up a little earlier just to clear it all from their cars Monday morning.

“(It's) exhausting. I’m sick of it,” Justin Aprahamian said.

As the chef and father of two spent his morning shoveling his sidewalk, he also set aside extra time to get his kids ready for school because snowy days such as this one add at least 30 minutes to their morning routine.

"(The most frustrating thing about the snow is) the repetition, (shoveling) it and doing it again,” Aprahamian said.

But just a few blocks down, Aprahamian's neighbor, Dennis Boom, already had his snow blower roaring.

“I’m extremely tired of (the snow), probably been about a month of being tired of it,” Boom said.

Boom was out in front of his home blowing snow Tuesday when the city was pelted with pounds of snow.

Boom said the worst part of it was the messy roads, making it difficult to get out and enjoy the day.

“Part of it is just being cooped up, that’s probably the worst,” Boom said.
