Milwaukee Police recover thousands in cash and drugs

Milwaukee Police recovered thousands in cash and drugs after obtaining a search warrant Friday.

Members of the Special Investigation Division and District Four Anti-Gang Unit executed a search warrant in the 2500 block of W. Lloyd St. in relation to an ongoing drug and illegal firearms investigation.

Members found 20 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $65,000, as well as two firearms and $34,000 in cash.

Police arrested one suspect for Possession of a Controlled Substance With the Intent to Deliver- THC, Keeper of a Drug House and two counts of Felon in Possession of Firearm.

The case will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in the upcoming days.
