Milwaukee police looking for man who threatened cashier with knife

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are searching for a man involved in a business armed robbery Monday.

Around 8 a.m. in the 2600 block of West National Avenue, a man entered a business and threatened the cashier with a serrated knife, demanding merchandise, according to police. After getting the merchandise, the man fled.

The suspect is described as a black male with facial hair, 50- to 53-years-old, 5 ft. 9 in. tall and 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, a green hooded sweatshirt under a red jacket with blue and white sleeves, black pants and gray shoes.
