Milwaukee Police are investigating the death of a 51-year-old inmate Sunday afternoon.
Around 2:15 p.m. an inmate notified officials that his roommate had passed out and needed help.
Police say despite attention from security, on-site nurses and Milwaukee Fire Department, the inmate died on scene.
The cause of death is unknown. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
