The Milwaukee Police Department is working to determine the circumstances behind a crash that left three people injured.
Authorities responded to the intersection of Sherman Boulevard and Hampton Avenue after 9:45 a.m. Saturday for reports of multiple cars involved in a crash. Firefighters needed to extract some of the occupants from the cars involved, authorities said.
Three people were transported to area hospitals with injuries, according to the Milwaukee Fire Department. Two of the victims were more severely injured than the other.
