MILWAUKEE — MILWAUKEE — A woman was shot and killed by a man she was dating, according to Milwaukee Police.
MPD was called to the 3500 block of North 58th Boulevard near West Keefe about 9 a.m. Monday. When they arrived, police found a 27-year-old was shot to death. Police said her 26-year-old boyfriend was the shooter and that he took his own life.
Salvation Army chaplains were also on the scene to offer support.

Family members were visibly upset. Some said they could not believe the news.

Authorities have not yet identified the couple. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office said autopsies were scheduled for Tuesday.
