MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding two suspects who they say are accused of stealing property from someone's car.

Police say the suspects were seen entering a garage on the 2800 block of N. 89th St., in Milwaukee's Cooper Park neighborhood. They took some items from one person's car, and attempted to enter other cars in the area.

It happened at about 2:45 p.m. on August 6, according to a news release.

Police say the first suspect is a 16 to 20-year-old man, who was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants, and black shoes. He was armed with a handgun. The second suspect is described as a man in the same age range, with a low haircut and black mask covering his mouth and chin. He was wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt, orange pants, and black shoes with a white Nike logo, police say.

The suspects were seen driving a silver, four-door vehicle, police say.
