Milwaukee Police: Armed robber hit five south side businesses

Milwaukee police are looking for an armed robber that allegedly hit five businesses on the city’s south side Tuesday morning.

In a Facebook post, MPD said the robberies happened between 1 and 9:45 a.m. Tuesday morning. 

The businesses are located at 3800 block of South Howell Ave., 3700 block of South Howell Ave., 200 block of West Holt Ave., 100 block of West Oklahoma Ave. and the 6300 block of South 13th St.

The suspect is described as a white male between 35 and 40-years-old. He’s 5’07”, 150 pounds and has reddish or brown hair. He has a slimmish build with a beard. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, dark pants and light shoes. 

He implied he had a weapon underneath his sweatshirt when he robbed the businesses, police say.
