MILWAUKEE -- A 37-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday night outside a convenience store on Milwaukee's north side.

It happened just after 11 p.m. -- near the intersection of Lisbon Ave. and 32nd Street.

According to Milwaukee Police, the victim entered a nearby convenience store and became involved in a verbal confrontation with other individuals inside the store.

As the victim and others exited the store, the confrontation escalated. A suspect armed himself with a gun and shot the victim.

Fire officials proved life support measures on the victim -- but unfortunately, he died on the scene.

Right now, Milwaukee police say they are still investigating the incident and are still searching for the suspect.
