MILWAUKEE – Two separate overnight shootings leave an 18-year-old man dead -- and a 13-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man seriously injured in Milwaukee.

The first shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 5800 Block of W. Townsend Street.

When police arrived at the scene, they found an 18-year-old man with a serious gunshot wound. Despite life-saving measures by police and the Milwaukee Fire Department, the victim died at the scene. Milwaukee Police say the victim was shot during an argument with a known suspect. Police are still looking for that suspect.

Roughly 45 minutes later, Milwaukee police were called to a shooting in the 1800 block of N. 12th Street.

Police say a 22-year-old man was seated in a vehicle when someone drove past and fired multiple gunshots into the victim’s vehicle. The victim received a serious gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital.

A 13-year-old boy was also struck by gunfire as he stood outside in the same area.  He was treated on the scene by the Milwaukee Fire Department and transported to a local hospital with a serious non-fatal gunshot wound.

Milwaukee police continue to seek a motive in this shooting and search for the suspect or suspects involved.
