The severe storms that rolled through Wisconsin late Monday night and early Tuesday morning left damage and debris in a neighborhood on Milwaukee's north side.

The streets around 40th Street and Kiley Street, just south of Good Hope Road, were littered with broken branches and tree limbs on Tuesday morning.

One particularly large limb landed on Tiffany Walker's garage.

"We heard a big crash, it was just a lot of rain hitting the windows," Walker said. "My car alarm actually went off and wouldn't stop."
Walker is grateful no one was hurt.

"I'm not mad, I'm just thankful," she said. "Because it could have been way worse."

A few blocks away, a tree was uprooted and landed on the roof of Bill Sattler's home. A branch could be seen poking through the ceiling on the inside of the house.

He said his insurance company was on the way out to assess the damage.

"The tree could have come down a little harder and just crushed the whole side of the living room," Sattler said.
