MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Milkmen game was postponed Sunday due to a player who tested positive for the coronavirus. It is unclear what team the player is on.

The Milwaukee Milkmen were scheduled to play against the Chicago Dogs.

The team was supposed to take the field Sunday with first pitch at 1 p.m., but the game had to be canceled after one player tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the Milkmen, they canceled the game so they could test the rest of the team and staff. However, they are ensuring fans that they are safe.

They said, "there was no issue with fan experience elements and that the entire stadium is sanitized multiple times daily."

The Milkmen are now working closely with the Franklin Health Department and their medical provider to ensure the safety of the team and fans.

Due to HIPAA, the team will not be releasing the name of the player affected.
