A Milwaukee man is charged with three felonies and a misdemeanor for his role in a crash that injured two pedestrians after Cedarburg's Strawberry Festival Sunday.

Cedarburg Police found a bag of marijuana, a jar filled with marijuana buds, and a scale, according to the criminal complaint.

37-year-old Kunle Famakinwa appeared in Ozaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday on charges of reckless driving causing great bodily harm, second degree reckless injury and possession with intent to deliver THC. His misdemeanor charge is possession of drug paraphernalia.

At the time of the accident officers smelled marijuana in Famakinwa's car. The criminal complaint says Famakinwa refused to get out of his car after his car crashed into a mother and daughter on the sidewalk. He went to the hospital after the accident, following complaints at the scene that he is diabetic and needed treatment.

Cedarburg Police tell TODAY'S TMJ4 they are awaiting blood testing results before Famakinwa can be charged with driving under the influence. He has been arrested him for that.

Authorities say that the women he injured has broken ribs. Another victim has a fractured neck vertebrae.
