MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Jewish Community Center was evacuated Thursday afternoon over what fire officials described as an "irritating odor."
At the recommendation of @NorthShoreFire and under an abundance of caution, we have evacuated the JCC of all members and guests. (2/4)

All day camp participants have been moved to the north building on the Karl Community Campus, while students are still "happily playing in the south playground," the JCC reported on Twitter.
There's no word yet on what may have caused the odor. Everything was back to normal by 5:00 p.m. Thursday.
