MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Fire Department says Robert Olson has resigned from his position as Lieutenant as of 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.
This comes more than a week after the 44-year-old was arrested and charged with second-degree sexual assault of a child, a Class C Felony.
Court documents say Olson had multiple sexual encounters with the minor in a nearly 3-month period. The details of what Olson is accused of doing are graphic and TODAY'S TMJ4 will not be sharing that information.
If convicted, Olson could face up to 40 years in prison, a $100,000 fine, or both.
