MILWAUKEE — Four people are displaced after Milwaukee fire crews responded to a house fire near 48th and Hadley on Wednesday.
Crews arrived at the scene around 6 p.m. The fire extended to two other homes. According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, they helped one male out of the home.
No injuries were reported. The Red Cross is helping the four people who are displaced.
A couple told TMJ4 News that they were saved by their dogs. They live upstairs in the home and said they noticed their pets acting weird. That's when they realized something was wrong and that their home was on fire.
