Milwaukee drunken driver arrested after blowing five times over the legal limit

MILWAUKEE -- Ten drunk drivers were arrested this past weekend after Sheriff Richard R. Schmidt ordered an aggressive OWI (operating while intoxicated) initiative to rid Milwaukee County freeway of intoxicated drivers.

This included a 41-year-old Milwaukee man who blew a .42 on his PBT test (Preliminary Breath Test), more than five times the legal limit. He was arrested Saturday afternoon on I-94 at Rawson Avenue after he failed the sobriety test.

The 41-year-old will face misdemeanor charges of operating while revoked / OWI-related and OWI-2nd. If convicted, he could serve up to one-and-a-half years in prison.
