The Milwaukee County Zoo welcomed their first cow calf of 2019 Tuesday morning.
The Family Farm welcomed the first calf of the year, yesterday at 11:20am. Mom, Darcy - a black and white Holstein, and baby are doing fine. Once the calf was cleaned off by mom and keepers a coat was put on to keep her warm. She will be cared for behind the scenes. #zooborn pic.twitter.com/pplFT267W1

In a tweet, the zoo announced the baby calf and mother were doing fine after the birth.
The calf was cleaned off by Darcy, the mother, and zookeepers before being given a coat to stay warm.
A name for the new calf has yet to be released.
