A suspect involved in the case of the woman found dead at a Froedtert parking structure is in custody, according to Milwaukee County Sheriff Earnell Lucas.
Froedtert alerted employees that the victim was an employee at the hospital.
"We are so very sad to share with you that the individual who passed away was a member of our Froedtert & MCW family," the email read.
The suspect was found at 37th St. and Wisconsin Ave. at Wisconsin Community Services 9 a.m. Friday.
WCS offers behavioral health services for critically mentally ill people. The suspect is a participant at WCS according to administrators.
At this time, the sheriff does not have a connection between the suspect and the victim.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner ruled the case a homicide earlier on Friday.
The Sheriff's Department will be recommending charges to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin released the following statement about the homicide Friday night:

We remain vigilant about the emotional and physical safety of every person who works at, is cared for by, or visits our clinics and hospitals and have enhanced security measures.
