GREENFIELD — An autopsy has been scheduled for a man Wednesday after the Milwaukee County medical examiner was called to South 60th and West Armour Avenue in Greenfield.
Police were called to the scenejust after 12:00 p.m. after reports of an "assault with an edged weapon," according to a release. The victim was conveyed to the hospital with life threatening injuries, where he later died.
The suspect is described as being a lighter-skinned black male wearing all black and a hat. He has a thin build, believed to be 5 feet, 9 inches to 6 feet and in his 20s to 30s. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
The Greenfield Police Department has enlisted the help of the K9 unit to find the suspect.
A suspect is not yet in custody. The City of Greenfield is asking the public to stay indoors and not approach the subject if found. Call 911 if you have information about the subject.
